   New billboards in Texas causing a stir:

   One sign states, “The early church welcomed a gay man.” Another proclaims, “Jesus affirmed a gay couple.”

   Below each statement, a Bible verse is referred to: Matthew 8:5-13 and Acts 8:26-40, respectively.

   Apparently the main problem people have with the signs (among those people who have problems with signs) is that they don’t like how they have interpreted Bible passages.

   Shame on them! Using the Bible to selectively promote their own agenda!
